I’m glad you got it figured out!
are you supposed to be picking up where the bind off starts with your working needle and then joining the back section edges to the “U” shaped area (then p/u and join the other end when you knit back across those)? that would make 116 st then. O/W, why is there armhole shaping? i think it’s supposed to make kind of a shrug-like wrap.
