Not sure what happened. And I don’t think it’s a dropped stitch, but I’m a new and self/internet taught knitter. Just noticed a spot several rows back that isn’t right.
This kind of floats appears if you drop a stitch, then that stitch gets pulled out of the parent stitch and then you pick up the parent stitch. The stitch count will be the same.
With some patience you could fix it by dropping the stitches above this float, pulling apart the fabric so a ladder is created all the way down to the mistake and then with a crochet hook work all the way back up.
