Hi everyone I have just joined today. I have a pattern from knitnow issue 117 page 19. Baby cardigan. On here it has 24 rows of cable panel which I’m fine with. After starting back change to large needles:
Next row (rs) knit then it says Set cable panel
Row 1(ws) K6, work row 1 of cable panel from chart or written Instructions, k3, work row 1 of cable panel, k6.
Row 2 P6 work row 2 of cable panel, p3, work row 2 of cable panel, p6. These 2 rows set cable panel and Rev st st.

Cont in patt as set for 3 further rows.

This where I am stuck.

Welcome to KH!!! I believe what they want u to do is continue with the next 3 rows of the cable pattern. So for your next 3 rows you will:

Do Row 3 of the cable panel (knit sts inbetween)
Do Row 4 of the cable panel (purl sts inbetween)
Do Row 5 of the cable panel (knit sts inbetween)

“Continue in pattern as set” means to keep going with the design the way it’s been set up.
