Hello I am a new knitter trying to knit a baby cardigan. I am starting to shape the back raglan have done
1st row k1, S1, K1, peso, knit to last 3 stitches, K2 tog, K1
2nd row purl
3rd row knit
4 th row purl

Then it says…1st to 4th row sets raglan shaping **
Work 8 rows dec 1st at each end as before in next and every folk 4 th row. 43
And this is where I am stuck, does it mean Dec at the start and finish of each row?!
This is the easiest pattern I could find, and I’m baffled!

It doesn’t say peso, it says psso

Decrease every 4th row. The instructions want you to repeat the 4 rows that you quoted starting with the next row and when you do that you’ll decrease at each end of row 1. Work rows 2,3 and 4 without decreases.
