Hi I am knitting a baby’s blanket I have started to knit the rib by doing the first 2 rows , then the pattern says the first 2 rows set the rib and to work 7 more rows in rib my question is do I do I class row 1 & 2 as one row or do I class them as 2

Do u have a picture of the ribbing? You could count the rows and see if there are 9 or 16. Then u would know

Hi Suble67, you have done rows 1 & 2, these rows set the pattern for you to follow. Now work another 7 rows in pattern before you carry on with next part in your instructions. If you need any further help just ask again :grinning:

What you do is knit row 1 and row 2. Then u knit the following

Row 1
Row 2
Row 1
Row 2
Row 1
Row 2
Row 1

Then continue to the next part of the instructions.
