I am knitting an afgan which requires me to knit two strands at once. Does this mean i cast on with the two strands at the same time? or should i just cast on with one ball of yarn and join in the second once i start knitting?? Please help 
You cast on and knit with two strands as if they were one. So be careful that when you knit you’ll be going through two strands. If you only go through one you’ll be increasing and it might make your blanket wonky.
ok great! pattern calls for 107 sts cast on, it looks very short when i used one strand, just wanted to make sure before i cast on 107 sts again that i was supposed to be using two! thank you!
