Help me... my brain is literally fried

Hi everyone !! I know everyone is super busy with the Holiday season… Knitting last minute gifts, shopping, trying desperately stay away from yarn sales… actually all of that is just me !! I have knit this hat… and my niece likes that super slouchy, ‘“ don’t care if it keeps me warm… as long as it makes me look on trend”. It was a test knit for Corrado Lark called ‘Broken Truths’. It was a fun and quick knit, and if you haven’t seen his podcast, you should !! I was in a knitting slump and saw one of his podcasts, picked up my needles, and signed up for his test.

Ok, wow this is getting long… I would like to do the ‘Envelope’ closure at the top, and I need to do the 3 needle bind off on the inside of the hat… I flipped the hat, inside out, and my stitch instead of being on the back needle is on the front… when the hat is flipped with the right side, the last stitch is in the perfect place for the bind off… I’m perplexed as to what I should do… maybe it’s obvious but I just can’t see it… any help would be appreciated :blush:
Top photo is hat from the right side, Bottom photo is inside out, the side I’m supposed to do 3 Needle Bind off

You could go ahead and knit the first two sts on the needles together using a third needle. It could be a dpn if you have one. Don’t worry about the placement of the working yarn for that k2tog.

Oh wow !! Thank you so much… I honestly don’t know why this has me so dumbfounded, seriously I’ve been staring at it to figure it out in my head, and to top it off, I watched a YouTube video on 3 needle Bind off of inside of the hat and she just flipped it inside out and ‘boom’ it was in position to do the bind off… but I genuinely appreciate you taking the time to help me !! Happy Holidays
