Help me identify what this is?

I got a package today from Sandy(carolina red), and there was something in there that I can’t identify what it is. I asked her but she said that she doesn’t know what it’s for either. Can someone help? :??

It’s for making Hairpin Lace. I’m sure if you google it you can find all kinds of directions for it.

I had one of these in a care package from a lady that takes my morning exercise class with. I’ve yet to try using it though. :wink:

www.stitchdiva.com currently has quite a few hairpin lace patterns (for sale). They seem to think it’s coming back. I didn’t learn it the last time it was big.
I may skip it this time, too.

This is actually a crochet tool that I own, but have never used. :oops:

I once saw an older lady on a bus using one, and I was facinated by how it worked. I also remember cringing because she was working away on a filthy bus with WHITE yarn! :shock:
