Help, I'm stuck!

Hi All,

I have just started knitting and I’m trying to do some small bears to give to my class children at Christmas time. what does the following line mean:

C/o 9 sts in patt,

There may be a knit/purl stitch pattern that’s given, but I’d just cast them on, then work the sts in pattern.

It’s helpful if you give a link when you’re asking questions. I know you may not have enough posts yet, but you can type it out (or copy and paste) and we can still see what is.

Unless it’s cast[B] off[/B], then you’d work the stitch as it has been worked up to this point.

Oh right, it could be cast off…
