Help identifying stitching pattern?

Hi all

I am planning to knit a jumper for my son, similar to the one in the photo linked below. I was hoping that someone might have some idea of what kind of stitching pattern would be needed to create the patterned finish? All help is very much appreciated!

It looks like a variation on the diagonal basketweave cable.

You may have to play around with a swatch to get the same look as the sweater but this is close to the idea.

Thanks for that help identifying the stitch. I don’t suppose anyone has seen the pattern for this jumper anywhere. I’m trying to identify the wool ply, etc so I can make one the same.
