Help! I need ideas for using newly aquired yarn Shimmer Lace

:thinking: ummmmm. :XX: New to the site and New to knitting. so, rubbing my chin is something I do often!! :blush:

I recently bought several skeins of yarn from knitpicks–
Mostly lace yarns Shimmer & Aplaca Cloud

Need Ideas, UMMMM… :thinking:
I tried a simple lace pattern using shimmer (from knitpicks)in “mist” color–but it didn’t work out. :?? The lace seems very thin–should lace yarn be very thin? and if so what pattern best fit the *hand dyed silk/aplaca blend lace.

The pattern shoud be fairly simple–**always ready for a challege if the pattern is extra beautiful.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I’m an artist, paint murals (especially for shildren) SAHM for now, my son is 2 yrs. old. I hope to return to the classroom as a talented art teacher~when he is older .

oh! I was thinking about ordering some of Shimmer so I could knit this up:

This pattern is for a beginner (me!) and it specified a lace weight.
