Help! I don't know what to do on the next row!

I’m currently 21 rows into making a bath mit and I’m stuck. The previous 3 pattern rows are as follows:

row 10: k16, knit increase twice, k to end of row
row 14: k 16 knit increase, k2, knit increase, knit to end of row
row 18: k16, knit increase, k4, knit increase, knit to end of row

Then for row 22 it says “Cont in this manner, inc 2 sts on next and following 4th rows until there are 48 sts.”

Does this mean that I do my knit increases at the begining of each of the next 4 rows or do I follow the previous pattern rows and knit 16 first?

When it says ‘in this manner’ it means to do it as you have been, so do what you said above.
