okay guys…help me out…here are a few pics of the baby blanket I’m working on…what in the world did I do??? I think the problem is in the purl stitches on the right but I’m not sure…suggestions??? please tell me I don’t have to frog back that many rows…
Help help...what have I done?
It looks like about 3 rows down you somehow knit two together or knit into the stitch below. I think that if you take the two knit stitches off and let them drop past the mistake, you can pull them back up with a crochet hook.
Edit–looking again, could it be that you picked it up and started working in the wrong direction? There seems to be a little gap there. the more I look at it the more this seems like the problem. I think frogging is the only solution for this one. You can try the way above, and it that’s not the problem, you may have to go back.
I took the knit stitches off and now here’s what it looks like…I hate to be panicked but I can’t figure out how to fix it and this is my KO project. After seeing these photos…do you have any other suggestions??? Thanks Ingrid…
I don’t see the new picture. You might have to take out the stitch for a few rows and use Amy’s video for fixing a dropped stitch if you know about where the problem is. It’s a little hard to tell that close.
No picture for me, either. The more I think about it, though, the more I think that you reversed directions because of the way that stitch is coming out horizontally. I’d secure the stitches you took out with a piece of yarn and frog back to before the mistake.
sorry…I was so sleepy last night that I must have forgotten to attach the photos…Ingrid…thinking back, I think you’re right. I do remember a moment where I was trying to figure out which direction I was going after putting down my knitting. I’m just going to frog back…thanks for your help.
