Help: Heart felt collection by Kim Hargreaves: Emily (Jumper)

Sorry need more help!

Im working on the Emily a jumper in the heartfelt collection,

Im stuck on one of the paragraphs i think i know what it means but want to double check before i continue

I am up to the sleeves part!

Decreade 1 st as before each end of next row, then on 2 foll 4th rows, and then on 4 foll 6th rows ending with a RS row.
Can i juct check that this means

I work four rows decrease one either side on the fouth row, then work another 4 rows decrease again on the four row, then
work 6 rows decrease on the 6 th row, and do this four times/? is that right?

You’d decrease at each end of the next row, then work 3 rows and decrease on the 4th; work 5 rows and decrease on the 6th 4 more times.
