Help for a newbie

Hi everyone! I just learned how to knit this weekend and have already started to make a scarf. It was coming along nicely when the yarn got stuck and something happened when I stood up. If you look at the top right of the photo, you will see I have a stitch on the needle but it does not have the working yarn coming from it, it is coming from the second stitch. I don’t want to have to start over and I’m sure there is a way to fix this, I just don’t know how  Can someone explain what I need to do to fix this? Thanks!!

First of all, I can’t believe you’ve only been knitting for a few days!-- you’re work looks incredible! And second-- you’re going to be SO happy when you find out the solution for this:happydance: – couldn’t be easier. Turn your work over, so that last stitch, the one on the farthest right end of the needle (I mean farthest right looking at the photo), is now the farthest on the left. Put that one stitch on your second needle, as if it’s the very last stitch in the row you were working on, and now knit it. Done:woohoo: .

Thank you SO SO much!! That worked perfectly  And thank you for the compliment, it really means a lot. I usually get frustrated with crafty things, but I am really enjoying knitting and am determined to “get it”!
