Help-Fingering weight wool/silk yarn available in cones?

Hi. I am trying to find a fingering weight wook/silk blend fingering weight yarn available in cones (like Zephyr is) to knit my chuppah out of.

I have searched ravelry and the internet and have come up with nada.

Help me please!

If I cannot find anything, I will probably order two cones of Zephyr lace weight from Sarah’s Yarns. It will cost around $80 for the yarn. I don’t want to spend more than $150 max on the yarn, hence the cone option. If you can help me I will love you forever and find some way to reward you.

Or, what do you think of Zephyr, it seemed splitty to me, or at least the sample from Sarah’s Yarns. Maybe it was just the sample? I was using Addi Lace needles, size 1.

I want a wool silk blend because I want it to be durable but soft and shiny looking. I want good stitch definition as well, so mohair is not a a good option.

Try Colourmart.com. They don’t have wool/silk, but they do have some gorgeous cashmere/silk blends, as well as 100% silk. And all for super, super cheap.

A chuppah is a wedding canopy. It’s like a big blanket/tablecloth basically.

I am looking for white/silvery yarn.

Oh a chuppah is beautiful. do you have a pattern for one yet? i just got a pattern for a canopy, I could pdf it for you, if it doesn’t have to be specific to fit within the ceremony.
