Help - explanation needed!

Hello,

Can someone please explain the following? I am confused…
‘Dec 1 st at each end of next 5 rows, then on 2 foll alt rows’

Can you send a link to the pattern?

It sounds to me that you are to decrease the first and last stitch for five rows, then skip a row, decrease firsts and last, skip a row then decrease firsts and last.

I would feel better about this if I could see the pattern.

Decrease at the beginning and end for 5 rows, then every other row twice. An alt row means every other, foll is following meaning after.
