HELP: dropping all yarn overs

I am having trouble with doing a drop on the yarn over.

How do I go about doing that??

I would really appreciate your help. :knitting:

When you get to the next row, slip the extra loop off the left needle.

thank you very much suzeeq.

Happy Knitting.

I’m a “beginner” knitter who keeps making mistakes with the lace rectangle shawl pattern from blue ski alpaca (My first lace attempt). Does anyone know of a video that would demonstrate how to “fix” mistakes in this lace pattern (specifically the K2tog yo part. Each time I realize a mistake I have to keep starting from scratch because I don’t understand how to reset the stitches after I unravel! yikes, sometimes I’m frogging 20 rows!!!
Anyone else doing this “easy” shawl!

What’s the mistake? If you forget to YO, pick up the yarn where it should have been, in between the 2 k2togs and go from there.

and as a backup, don’t forget to use a lifeline. it makes mistakes so much easier to bear.

I hear you! I am not doing that shawl, but I am also attempting my first lace project…a scarf. I think I finally have the hang of it after many, many froggings! I didn’t have trouble with the K2tog, YO, but I have trouble with a p after a YO! I did finally do a lifeline and that helped.
