Hi! I’m currently finishing the cuff of my sweater and I did twisted rib (I twisted my knit stitches by knitting through the back leg and purled normally), but now my pattern says to do 2 rounds of double knitting before the Italian bind off. How do I do the double knitting while maintaining the twisted ribbing?
What is the name of your pattern and designer?
You can do the twisted rib on the knit sts if you’d like or work them as plain knits. The plain knits may look better in the bind off however. You could try this out on a small swatch and see which you prefer.
The Italian bind off can be worked without the round of double knitting too. I love this bind off especially for k1p1 rib and use it whenever possible.
