If I wanted to go about making a ski mask for example.

I recently saw this pic and died lol
. It’s originally crocheted, but I feel more comfortably knitting. I would imagine that it would be a ribbed stitch to start off then a stocking stitched for the remainder of the hat. Do you think this will be possible? I am confused how I will make the holes for the eyes and mouth though. I was wondering how many stitches should I use and how would i make the horns? Do I sew them on idk? I need help or a simple walk thru on how I would go about knitting this! thanks so much!!!
You could start with a balaclava pattern like this one:
There are many more if you search Ravelry so there may be one you like better.
The mouth and eyes are cast off on one row and then cast on on the next row. I suspect that you could do the horns by casting on at the beginning of 2 rows, shaping over the next several rows and then casting off.
It’ll take some experimenting but it looks do-able.
