Help: Decrease every other row

Hello , Hope someone can help me to understand what means decrease every other row… I assume I have to decrease at the RS of the work, for example in the row 13 , I decrease, should I decrease also at the row 14, even it is WS, or should I decrease at the row 15…

Thanks for your help :knitting:

Decreasing EVERY OTHER ROW means if WS, the others will be on WS rows as well. If your first one is on a RS row, the others will be RS rows.

If you dec on 13 and THEN on 14, that’d be EVERY ROW, not every other.

Cam, thanks a lot!, clearly understand

So we would need to decrease using k2 tog or p2 together, especially for decreasing every row?

Yes, use k2tog and p2tog for decreases every row in stockinette stitch (knit one row, purl one row) for example.
