Hello,
Please help, I have a pattern that calls for 10 hanks of worsted yarn. The “hank” is described as 100g/100yds.
The yarn that I want to use is worsted, but it is sold in balls of 50g/96yds.
If I go by gram weight, I need 20 balls and If I go by yardage I need 11 balls, Do I go by the yardage or the gram weight?

Yardage. Fibers differ in weight, but if you have the right thickness and yardage, you should be ok.
