help: added AND dropped a stitch! double stockinette stitch

I am knitting a double stockinette stitch. with the black yarn I saw that I had knitted an extra stitch accidentally (like accidental yarn over, but I don’t know for sure how I did it) and then while trying to figure out which was the extra stitch I dropped the wrong stitch. In the photo you can see at the very top what it looks like if I try to knit right now, it is all twisted! I have undone many rows trying to figure it out myself but I haven’t been able to. I need help figuring out how to 1. drop the extra stitch and 2. pick up my dropped stitch.

thanks!!

Welcome to the forum!
It looks like you have 10sts in black. I don’t see a dropped stitch or an accidental yarn over at least not on this side of the knitting. All the columns of knit sts continue up the knit piece. Do you see the same columns of knits from the other side?
If you want to reorient the sts because they have become twisted, you could tink back to the blue and then re-knit just that section.

It may also help to put in lifelines in case something like this happens again (I certainly hope not but just in case!).

Hello! sorry for the very late reply. School started and I had to pause on this project. My issue is that my stockinette stitch seems to end up twisted, but only for the black part of the yarn. The different color sections are together with intarsia so whatever I did only effected the black stitches. Yes I have 10 sts. I have tinked back many rows but whenever I start to knit again it seems to end up twisted again. I will make a new thread as my question is now different. Is there some way to mark this thread closed/ended?
