Hello everyone from wintery Australia!

Just thought I’d drop a quick line and say hi to everyone as I’m new to this forum. I’m from the Hunter Valley in NSW (2 hours or so north of Sydney) which is really great wine country if ever you’re out this way. I’ve knitted most of my life, knit mostly in fair isle and have a husband who can’t understand my wool stash lol.

Cheers and looking forward to getting to know you.

Welcome, Fran!
We’re in the midst of a long stretch of 90 degree temps in Maryland so just the idea of winter seems fabulous. Good to have you join us here.

Well hello Maryland! My aunty left Australia in the early 80s, married an American and has recently taken US citizenship (took her a while!). They all live in Maryland and yes, the heat has been a bit much for them too.

Welcome to Knitting Help and welcome from Lakeland FL, we have several lakes here in our city.

We’ve just gone through a major heatwave here in Ontario, Canada, with temps reaching into the mid 30’s C.

My moms sister lived in Adelaide. (nowhere near you, I know. But still. same continent…)

Men. what is it about a yarn stash that’s so hard to understand? LOL.
