Just finished a hedgehog hat with a single crochet (1row, loose) trim. The edge is curling just at the nose which ruins the “cuteness” factor. (See picture) Lots of work for a beginning knitter with disappointing results. Please help!

Stockinette curls and one round of single crochet isn’t going to really keep it flat. You can try blocking it to flatten it out. When it’s worn it may well look more like you want it to.

Yes, that is the hedgehog pattern I’m using. The bottom doesn’t curl as badly as shown. I tried to post 2 pics but failed. This is with me flipping it up. Hopefully, on a child’s head it will stay down. Thank you again for your reply.
