Having trouble reading needle size on the cable needle cord

I know I should keep the cable needle with the jacket but sometimes they get separated. S’pose I should invest in a needle gauge? Anyone else having this problem? Been using a magnifying
glass, but even then, sometimes the cord gets a little squirrely on me.

Yes get a needle gauge. That will help you with ‘what the heck size is this?’ problem. I’ve not had that problem before but I can see myself having the problem if I buy second hand needles to figure out what size they are.

best circulars I ever used. The cord doesn’t get all squirrely on me like some of the other circulars I’ve used. It’s definately worth the price for me.

Definitely invest the couple of dollars for a needle gauge. Most have a ruler on them, too.
