Hey all, new to the forum and knitting in general,
I’m just wondering… I want to have say, a star shaped piece for example, knit in quantity… The final piece would need to be shaped like a star, not a box with a star in it,
Is it possible with current technology to take the star design from a computer and have a machine knit it out? Is this a service that’s readily available to the public via knitting shops or wherever? If so, is it a simple process, and cost effective? Also, is it possible to go 2 or even 3 colors in the design?
Just trying to get an idea of the possibilities here, I want to have a number of designs knitted in quantity, and I know having it done by hand is out of the question. Thanks for all help!
