They seem to have fair prices and my friend with a teenaged daughter found some great shoes for her. The kid is three inches taller than I, and wears a 14. Try to find that at Shoe Source!

BTW, if you know of any other sources, I’d love to read about them. TIA.

I’m not laughing–I’m standing right there with ya’ at 5’10" with a size 10 shoe (I’ve actually always wanted to be taller–yep, I’m weird that way–:teehee: ). Thanks so much for the link.

Not laughing here, either. I’m 5’ 9’’ with a thin, very high-arched size 10 foot. I hate shoe shopping!

I have SO much trouble finding shoes! My feet are wide and I have a lot of feet problems so shoe shopping is a total nightmare. I saw they do international shipping using USPS, so it probably wouldn’t be too expensive to ship to Canada. I’m not sure how easy it would be for me to find comfortable shoes without trying them on but… I could give it a try. Thanks a lot!

5’6", 10.5 or 11 AAA, narrow heel, flat arch, hammertoes. Oy.
ZAPPOS…
Great selection, one or two-day delivery, free shipping in both directions. Incredible service.
You can order several pairs, try them on, send back what doesn’t fit. It’s like going to a good shoe store without spending money on gas and without having the sales clerk sigh and roll his eyes when you announce your size.

I am going through a different kind of can`t find shoes.

I have recently aquired heel spurs and my doctor assures me they can not be removed. I think this is more of a they do not remove them anymore cause they grow back…less of a IT CAN NOT BE DONE!

Either way…it makes shoe shopping more dreaded then pants shopping for me…a shoe that fits properly in the toe will rub the back of my foot, a shoe that doesn`t rub on my heels, has too much room in the toe…

I have been wearing sandals all summer, I don`t know what I am doing to do come fall…

Oh wow, awesome. I’m only about 5’6 but I wear size 10 shoes and it’s so hard to find them in wide! And when you do the shoe is usually so ugly there’s NO WAY it’s worth spending money on, lol.

I’m not quite ‘up’ there with a couple of you, but stand about 5’7" and wear a 9-N. They are not easy to find. A lot of medium widths out there but then that is too loose. Thanks for the info.

My sister has very wide feet. She wears a 5EEE. She has had pretty good luck with Zappos except that she likes most of the shoes she orders on spec and sends very few pair back.

Okay, all you tall gals, I’m 5’2 and wear size 9 1/2! It’s hard to find the 9 1/2 size! 10s are too big, but sometimes I can fit into the 9. I hate it when people ask my shoe size or notice how honking big my feet are along with how short I am!

Kelly

I’m 5’4", and my left foot is a 7 1/2 and falls between a medium and wide. My right foot is almost one full size shorter and I have bunions to boot. I can’t afford to buy two different sizes and almost anything I put on hurts the bunions. I too hate shopping for shoes. Thanks for the link.

OH WOW you are a full 11 inches taller than me!!! I’m 5 feet and I wear 6 1/2 or 7 depending on the maker. my left foot is longer but my right foot is wider.

OH WOW you are a full 11 inches taller than me!!!

If you look at the statistics, I’m taller than 99.0% of all women, and 87.8% of men. My favorite country in the world is Holland, lots of tall women and beautiful clothes for them. When I read about girls taller than I it gives me hope. At five feet tall, you are of average height, in many countries most women are between 4’8" and 5’6".

Yes, I like statistics. What I loathe are catologs that say that a Tall pant has a 32 inch inseam. I need a 36.

hello tall people (and those not so tall!)

I’m 5’4" and I’ve always had VERY wide feet. Shoe shopping is terrible because yes, I need a 9 or so (depends on style) but except for sport shoes that tent to be shaped wider (and narrow styles seem to be in ATM for “street shoes”) I can never find ANYTHING. And a lot of the things that come in wide, some genius put pointy toes on it, which looks totally idiotic and sometimes downright disgusting on my feet.

THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THE LINK!

LOL we have totally opposite problems. I hate catalogs that say Petites and THEN they are still too long!! (for me they will be too long in the arms as well if its a dress). I hate feeling like a kid playing dress up. I guess it doesn’t help that I stop growing when I was 11.
