Hat for a 1 year old boy

I’m finally ready to advance to something a bit more complicated. I’m pretty sick of washcloths now!

Any suggestions for hat patterns for a 1 year old? So many seem geared towards small babies or full fledged toddlers!

I’m ready to tackle circular needles or double pointed needles, but am still relatively new at the knitting thing . . so nothing too complex please!!

Thanks!

It sorta depends on what yarn you want to use, but here’s a basic hat in various sizes.

I made this hat, it fits my son who is 22m. I made it in boy colors of course and it is soooo cute.
It’s a fairly basic pattern with a tiny bit of interest. Don’t panic about I-cord or kitchener stitch. I didn’t know how to do them before this project but I learned how to do them from the videos on this site and the hat came out just fine.
