I started making this really cool little seamless preemie beenie from this pattern I found on a knitter’s blog, and I must be doing/reading something wrong…<sigh>
It has a pattern generator, and I should have 96 rows at the end, but I’m sure I won’t. I actually wrote out the rows I should be doing so I could mark them (with a pencil) as I finish them to try to get it right. Problem is, on the first repeat, I get the 24 (12 decrease rows + 12 increase rows) rows I should have, but then on the 2nd time through, you start from the 3rd row of the decrease rows, so it follows that instead of 24 rows I’d only have 22, right? Or should I be doing another set of 2 decrease rows to make up for that???
It is shaping itself (uses short rows with wrap & turn), but it looks even smaller than I thought it would…
Oh well, guess I’ll go work on something else & hope that someone here may be able to help me puzzle through this pattern…
TIA for any input. Sorry if this should maybe be in the pattern forum?
Diane
P.S. If anyone actually goes to look at it…I used 8" for a, 4" for b, 12 rows & 6 stitches = 1"
