i just got mine on friday…they aren’t in any worse condition than they would have been if they were sitting on the shelves at the book store for a while. i would bet most will get them this week!!

I just got mine yesterday. They were sent media mail, so… ya know how media mail can be!

I was so thrilled to get mine and have had such a great time looking through them. They were my first knitting books! :slight_smile:

Interweave had an online sale of their craft books that were ‘hurt’. Mine only had a few bent corners, nothing major. The sale is over for this year, though.You’ll have to check it out next year! :thumbsup:

I got mine a few days ago via FedEx. Very little damage! Less than some books I’ve paid full retail for…

I got mine today, media mail. Look like they’ve been sitting on my shelf for a while, that’s all.

Got mine today. Media mail. I just hate it when I am charged $6+ when actual shipping is $2.50…just a pet peeve of mine.

That seems strange to me, that some are being sent media mail. :?? I thought my shipping cost was resonable since it was sent FedEx, but if it came media, I’d be a little ticked too.

it annoys me too but i just try to remind myself that they had to pay for the materials and the person to box them up. it bothers me more when people charge “handling” on Ebay than it does when a store does it. I guess it just depends on what it is and where it is coming from. Jeff charging me $1.50 to send some Addis from Hong Kong doesn’t bother me at all. Someone charging me $6 to send some yarn from Oregon irritates me a lot! :rollseyes:

Yeah, I figure that piece of cardboard costs them maybe .10 cents and dern, I want to have the job of boxing stuff up for $5.00 a box! LOL

I don’t care how they send it, I just want it to GET HERE! Still not here today. I am going to wait until next Monday, and then I’m going to email IP. Want my sickly books so that I can begin to care for them and nurture them back to health! :smiley:

Mine were in great condition. I really don’t see where they were hurt at all.
