Has anyone made the Petal Bib from OneSkein?

I want to make the Petal Bib from OneSkein by Leigh Radford. The pattern calls for making one small petal and 4 large. I’m not sure if I’m supposed to cut the yarn after each petal or not. Below are abbreviated steps. Please let me know what you think.
Small Petal:… Row 6 K2, purl to last 2 stst, k2.
Place sts on holder.

Large Petal:…Rows 6 and 8: K2, purl to last 2 sts, k2.
Place sts on holder.

Join Petals: " Place all five petals on straight needle with small petal in the center and two large petals on each side of small petal- 70 sts total. Rejoin yarn with RS facing and work as foll:…

So, because in the Join Petals section it states “rejoin yarn” am I to understand that I’m cutting the yarn after making each petal? That’s my interpretation, just want to be sure before I start cutting!

It sounds like you’d cut the yarn to me, but is the pattern available online so we can have a look. If not–are you on Ravelry? If so, you might see if others have made it and take a look at their pattern notes. Or, you could even message one or two of them and ask them.
