Happy Halloween everyone! Here I am dressed as Elle Woods from Legally Blonde. I work at an elementary school so dressing up is not just encouraged it is practically mandatory.
We are wearing matching sweaters that I knit up on Sunday and Monday night. Mine is the Anthropologie Capelet in Jiffy Pink. Hers is an original creation. I will take better pics later of the FOs.
I admit, Halloween is a big deal for me, and I HATE HATE HATE wearing a costume that I think anyone else might do. Which is why I could have never used this costume around the times when the two movies came out. It’s fun to dress up, and the kids at my school love that the adults can be silly too!
Your costume is great! And it’s so cool you have the matching doggie. I’m not wearing one now, but I wonder if I can make my planned hank-of-yarn costume before I go watch The Grudge 2 tonight.
I actually knit the anthropologie capelet in about two hours. But I was really pushing it. And I have found mistakes since I finished. But I did it. I was flying!
I went to a Halloween party as a Daywalker from the episode of South Park about the evil Ginger kids. Daywalkers have red hair, but true Gingers also have freckles. No costume required. :teehee:
