Half shamrock dishcloth- st paddys day!

Well, I knit this shamrock dishcloth, but I only did half of it because I knew it was going to be too big for my taste. I doubt you can really see the detail because it’s just white, but I’m going to try staining it some with koolaid (because koolaid stains my cotton shirts by accident, poo)

“Wow”, I like it.

GREAT JOB. You can try the kool aid, but when I tryed to dye a cotton dishcloth with wilton dyes it didn’t work. I was trying for purple and it turned pink. Then with about 3 washes it was back to white. Some people say that rit dyes work on cotton, but I have never tryed it. Just thought I would give you a heads up.

Neat!

That looks really awesome!! Is the pattern on-line? My MIL would love it!

I second the pattern request.

Ooooo… don’t dye it! I love it white!

Yeah, it’s from this pattern…

I really want to dye it because I LOVE green.

Thanks

Thanks for the pattern. I think I’ll make one for my mom right now. She always has people over, and she’ll appreciate using it for St. Patty’s Day!

You know, I was looking at the pattern. It would be very easy to make a towel or a table scarf with shamrocks at each end by just repeating rows 28 and 29 until it’s as long as you want before making the other shamrock!

That looks awesome!!

Awesome! and yes it would, that would look so neat!

And thanks Jenelle!

It’s gorgeous!

I’d leave it that lovely pure white

Nice work!

Thanks!

another reason i want to try dying it is because it’s a dishcloth, and I don’t want all the yucky food to stain it before I do. It’s my first dishcloth so I want it to look somewhat pretty for a little bit lol.
