H E L P...Raglan sweater, bit off more than I could chew?

Okay, so both sleeves and body are done for a raglan sweater. The end of the second one got a little messed up, but I mended it as best I could. When I get down to 15 stitches, it’s damn near impossible to knit properly. Does anyone have any tips? I am working in the round (obviously) and I can barely maneuver the needles because its such a tight squeeze. Also, does anyone have a good video for joining the sleeves? Every one I have seen thus far, is sub par.

From this post it sounds like you went top down for sleeves (as you went down to 15 stitches) and bottom up for body (as you got it done already). I am also looking at your sleeves (https://forum-new.knittinghelp.com/t/second-attempt-at-a-sleeve/141482) and they do not have any live stitches. This will make it slightly more difficult for you.

You will have to undo the sleeve cast on except for as many stitches you want at the armpit. Do one round more of body and during this round cast off the same amount of stitches at both armpits. On the next round work all around the body and when you get to one of the cast offs you begin working around the sleeve and then continue around the body on the other side of the cast off. Later you make a seam at the armpits.

(Alternatively you could undo the full sleeve cast on and do not do any cast off on the body. Put the armpit stitches from both body and sleeves on a waste yarn or spare needles and skip them when working around. Later graft together the armpit stitches with Kitchener’s stitches.)

What method/tools did you use for knitting the sleeves? Was it circular needles with magic loop method or double pointed needles?

Circular needles. The pattern i used called for the sleeves to be bound off. I knitted the body from the bottom up.

When you used circulars, did you also use the magic loop technique? Do you have a link you can share to the pattern?
