Guess What I Learned How To Do?

[size=6]Last Saturday, I learned how to Cable…it is so easy and fun…I have to say this again…being a brand new knitter…I am amazed at all there is to knitting. I love it! I am so excited to learn new things. I finished one fingerless glove and am working on the left hand now!

I also bought some mmmmmmmmmmmalabrigo from Fabulousyarn.com in Velvet Grapes Colorway and am starting the Irish Hiking Scarf to have some practice on those cables. I already have cast on, because I wanted to see how it felt and it is WONDERFUL!

I’ve been very blessed to have a great group of ladies that are meeting at our LYS on Saturday afternoons to knit…today, we are going to a coffee shop to knit…should be fun! I LOVE IT!

I love cables! They are so fun, good for you in learning them!
I love the simplicity of them. They look so complicated, but are so simple and beautiful!

Be careful knitting cables in Malabrigo, I heard they don’t turn out very well in that type of yarn…

I haven’t yet learned cables, but I am not a big fan of cables. Not my style. I have seen some incredible cable work on here tho. It looks so daunting.

Cables “look” soooo difficult, but they are soooo easy! I love doing cables! Well, for the most part! LOL!

When I am knitting, I always wonder what made someone wrap yarn around two sticks and start interlocking the loops together–I’m always amazed!
