Great Basic Sweater Pattern Book - All Sizes!

This is my new favorite pattern book, and I love that it’s a small size pamphlet, which is easy to keep in my knitting bag all the time. It has designs for sizes 2 (child) all the way up to 5X (adult)!

Patons Back to Basics

The book has patterns for cardigans, pullovers, jackets, and vests in all kinds of basic configurations:

Sleeves (raglan or set-in)
Neckline (crew or V)
Styles (plain, striped, or argyle)

Every pattern is designed for worsted weight yarn. (Patons Wool)

I’ll have to keep an eye out for that one. thanks - love Patons’ patterns.

Where did you get it from? I visited 2 craft stores last week and didn’t see this at either one of them. I will be keeping my eyes open for this one too!

Thanks for the tip!

Hi knitcindy! I got my copy direct from Patons. It’s a new book, so it might not be in stores yet.

If you buy it from Patons, you have two options.
$4.95 for a hard copy
$3.95 for a downloadable PDF

Thanks Sandy. With all the beautiful yarns, it’s so good to have a book of patterns like this one to show them off.

Sadly the patterns is only available for US or Canadian customers … even if you choose to pay for and then download the PDF.

Weird! Maybe it’s available on Patons Australia site?

David, can you order from Knitting Warehouse? They have the hard copy version on sale now.

Thanks!!!

I already have almost all of the Paton’s Next Steps booklets and I LOVE them. This one looks like it’s along those same lines.

Gosh, I love those books too! I have PDFs of all of them on my Nook, so I carry them everywhere I go. :teehee:

Again, Knitting Warehouse only sells to American and Canadian customers … very frustrating. It’s not a book released by Patons Australia as far as I can tell.

Found this on ebay - so have bought it (postage from the US sucks, but it’s part of doing business with a country with an unreliable and expensive postal service).

Omigosh! This is insane! I’m so sorry about that crazy situation. So glad you found it on eBay.

all good - looking forward to getting it!

I finally ordered this booklet from Knitting Warehouse!! I can’t wait to get it and see what I’ll be able to knit pretty soon!!!

Thanks again Shandeh!

So glad you are getting the booklet! Enjoy, my friend.

FINALLY got this booklet in the mail yesterday!!!:yay: As soon as I’m “caught up” with my prayer shawls, I’ll be able to tackle something from here!!

I’m one of those knitters who’s ALWAYS got 4-5 projects OTN at once. Don’t know if that’s good or bad, but it’s how I roll.

Thanks again for your recommendation Shandeh!!!

Woo Hoo! I hope you enjoy it, my friend.
