Granddaughter's Sweater with Picot Edge

I just finished, about 10 minutes ago, this sweater as a Christmas present for my youngest granddaughter. She is now 15… but very slim…
I got the yarn online in this lovely blue thinking it would look wonderful on her and then I began to knit on circulars using the long tail cast on for the very first time (proud of myself that it turned out so nice).
The pattern was supposed to be the Easy Peasy Tee from:
http://ziaperamore.blogspot.com/2007/01/couldnt-be-easier.html
and completed it as shown… However, as soon as I saw it done, I knew it would not fit her so I frogged it back to the sleeves and started over, changing the body of the beast so that it is sort of Aline.
I’d never done a picot before and had to look it up online… saw so many instructions but finally picked out the one that I could understand and the rest is history…

Well, so much for uploading my photographs of it… it seems my pictures are too big! What to do???

I can’t see any pics. Resize them before attaching them. 800x600 pixels is usually perfect. Cameras now take huge pics.

Hi Jan,
Yes, no pictures. I tried to upload but they were too big. I have no idea how to resize them… can you help me with that?
Thanks,
TEMA

Well, you can try one of these from your computer. Then attach the resized image in a new reply.

Tema I don’t know if this’ll work for you, but it does for me, on my Mac - I just go into the program where the photo is, and email it to myself - it automatically resizes it to mail it. Then I drag it from my received email onto my desktop, and I can post it in here. Hope this helps

Try # 5

By all that is Goooooodddd… I think I got it.
I had no idea my pics were so large. All I could do was to divide the picture so it would fit in the small frame so what you see is pieces of the sweater but I hope you can see how lovely it is (if I do say so myself… LOL!)
Thank goodness…

Well, I don’t know… nothing happened when I clicked on the attachements… what do I do now?

I use http://www.picresize.com/ but someone told me they had a problem with that site. There are others, I think Jan has link to a site that will resize it for you.

Maybe I’ll try again tomorrow… this thing has dragged me out…
Maybe tomorrow, I’ll feel better and something good will happen.
And, Jan, I have already tried two of the sites you showed me.
I’ll try the 3rd one… maybe, tomorrow…
Thanks…
