Well after a very {im}patient wait, I got my Denise’s today! I’m going to be using them for my KO project, so I haven’t decided what my first project with them will be… I’m thinking the mini-HP I want to do for my DS. I need to frog the scarf I’m working on currently for him {I’m not pleased with it}. He’s been asking me so nicely in his three year old way to make something for him, so I guess I better!

Good for you! I think you’ll love them. I got a set for the holidays from my DH 
and I won’t use anything else now. (Unless it’s a size they don’t make yet.) I just placed a phone order with the company - very nice person on the phone! - for a couple more end buttons, extra points in the sizes I use a lot so I can do more things at a time, a few extra cords, and their new long cords. Can’t wait to get them! And I got on an email list for when they come out with the larger points.
My first foray into knit-land with my new Denises was not as wonderful as I thought it should be. However, the problem was me. All me. I was knitting WAY too tightly. I forced myself to relax, and I now love them to pieces, better than my Boye set.
Well I’ve got two different projects on the go on my Denise’s and will be using them for my KO project as well. Since I’m used to using mainly metal needles, the tips seem quite floppy to me, but it’s not a problem. The pullover I’m working on for my son is going quite smoothly. Even though the yarn has a tendency to split {RH Kids}, the needles are avoiding that entirely. The only problem I’ve had with his sweater so far is that the cord isn’t much smaller than the size of needle I’m using, so I’m having to move the stitches around the cord on my own. I love how flexible the cords are… no problems with kinking up at all.
I just want to thank you all for raving about your interchangeables so much that you made me want a set!!!

So far I really am. They will be getting their first real workout starting Friday morning when I cast on for the KO… I’m knitting my entire booger on my Denise’s.
