Good first Circ project

I just wanted some input…

I am a beginner… I want to learn to use circ needles… what would be a good first project?

How about a basic hat? Check out the free patterns page on this site and look for a beginner/intermediate one. You’ll have to use double pointed needles when you get to the top of the hat, but once you get the circulars down, dpns aren’t bad!

This was my first circ project. http://knitting.about.com/library/blrollbrim.htm As long as you can knit ( no purling :cheering:)you can do it. Have fun and Good Luck :thumbsup:

I made Meema’s Felted Tote from Stitch N Bitch. It wasn’t too hard and the felting hid all boo-boos. And speaking of ‘boo’, the Booga Bagmight be a good first circular project.

I’m making my maiden circular knitting voyage, too! I’m working on the Quaker Ribbed Bottom Hat, which is on the Free Patterns - Hats page of this site. You don’t even need to use DPNs on this pattern!! (That’s why I picked it!)
