Good crochet instructions?

Hi all -

I need help finding some good, basic crochet instructions. All I want to be able to do is add some finish to some of my knits, but I’m having trouble figuring out how to do it with pictures in most books I’ve picked up. Is there an online source with videos sort of like kh? Or has anyone found a clear explanation in any book?
