I watched Amy’s video and learned how to Long Tail CO! :cheering: I really prefer that method to the one I Was using! I’m not sure what it’s called, but it’s like you’re knitting, but instead of slipping the stitch onto the right needle as normal, you slip it onto the left.

Amy’s videos are the only reason I am knitting now. Part of my problem before was that my MIL had tried to teach me to knit and I just couldn’t get it! She knits English style and does some very funky cast on, and I was just so completely lost! :?? When I saw Amy’s long tail cast on video, I was like “OKAY! Now we are talking!” and the Continental style of knitting just clicks for me so much more than the English style!
Now, I use the long tail CO for everything! I keep thinking I need to learn some new CO methods, but I never do. I taught someone at the community center how to do the long tail CO the other day while the kids were playing. She had that same “lightbulb” look when she saw it!
