My friends just had their baby yesterday, and I completely forgot to make a gift!! I don’t know what got into me, with midterms and a new job, it just slipped my mind completely .
Does anyone have a quick and easy baby blanket pattern?
Or maybe some other quick and easy ideas for some gifts for baby?

I received lots of blankets when my babies were born, and they both love a little tiny one that is about 12"x12". Just a little one to carry around, easier to bring in the car when they get a little older to be cozy, cover their dolls in bed with them, that sort of thing. Make it holey to stick their little fingers through. 
You could also edge it with satin if you get really ambitious…Good luck, and don’t kick yourself. It’s always so sweet to receive homemade beautiful things!
Bibs are a necessity for babies and these are very easy and quick. You could use some pretty yarn or put an edge on it to make it special.

You could also make a small blanket (about 20x25 or so) for a cover when baby is in a carrier or car seat.
