What to remember in knitting the gauge?
For the life of me I cannot remember whether to use the bigger or smaller needles if my gauge is bigger or has more stitches than the actual gauge patterns.
Im always confused. 
If you need more st/in go down a size. Smaller needles should give more st/in. Larger needles, fewer st/in. Less = more in this case.

I try to come up with things that help me remember such important bits of knowledge. I tossed that in hoping it would help. Enjoy your swatching. I enjoy doing swatches.
