I have a Pattern (for mittens) with a gauge of 14sts=4" or 10cm over Stst. But there is no row gauge. :??
Does this mean I keep going till I’m “square”, have 14 rows or can bind off whenever I want?

Row gauge isn’t as important as stitch gauge since you can knit to the [I]length[/I] required without worrying about [I]number [/I]of rows. For the swatch, I’d probably knit a couple of inches and then measure my stitches.:shrug:
