Gauge question

Pattern calls for fingering yarn (cotton and acrylic) with US 2 needles getting 26 sts. and 50 rows to 4 in. I can’t find any yarn that comes close. Most such fingering yarns get 26 sts. and 36 rows to 4 in. Is the pattern wrong?

Also what does SKTPO mean?

What pattern is it? Can you link to it please. According this site sktpo - slip 1 knitwise, k2tog, psso. Patterns usually have an explanation of terms so it might be defined in the pattern. Since gauge varies so much from knitter to knitter knowing what you’re wanting to make would help a lot.
