I’ve started to knit continental at least part of the time and have discovered that I am a much different knitter that way. When I knit English I am usually about a needle size bigger than what the yarn package says. I just stated an afghan square which is supposed to be 12 and one half inches and after about 4 inches worth of knitting it measures 15 inches across. I’m using number 7 needle and I know I’ll go down at least one size but I’m thinking maybe two. Advice?
That seems like an awful lot–I’d go down two sizes to start with, as well.
