Gauge off by the tinest bit

I achieved gauge that’s the tiniest bit off on size 10 needles (I checked in three diff spots. On one, I’m spot on, on the other two I’m about 1/8 of an inch off). On size 9 needles I’m wayyy off.

Should this be ok? Or is there anything I can do to obtain the exact gauge?

well, what are you making? For some things, gauge matters more.

1/8 of an inch over 4 inches? I wouldn’t worry about it. You’d need to have something 32 inches wide to be off by an inch.

Aylaanne: well it’s a sweater so I guess it kind of matters? This is the third swatch I’ve done… I just want to knit the sweater dammit!!

Ingrid: that makes me feel better!
