Garter Stitch Ruffles Baby Blanket

Hi again!!
I’ve been trying to find the pattern for the Garter Stitch Ruffles Baby Blanket online but it’s not anywhere! When I click the link for it on the Ravelry page, nothing comes up. Does anyone here have a clue as to where/how I can get the pattern??

I thought I could send the designer a message on Ravelry, but I couldn’t figure out how to do that and I don’t think she looks there much. HHEELLPP!!!

Thanks,
Knitcindy

:sob: knitting on the net website has been suspended, hopefully it is temporary, so many patterns, tutorials etc., have originated from this site including the pattern you are looking for. There are so many references and pins for this pattern someone somewhere must have a copy. How about posting an appeal on Facebook aswell as here. Maybe you can find the stitch and design your own pattern. Good luck with your search it is a beautiful pattern.

I saw all the pins on pinterest for this pattern!!! I’m not on there, so I’m wondering…is there a way for me to contact a person who’s pinned this blanket to ask them for the pattern? (without starting my own board/page??)

Thanks again,
Knitcindy

I am not an experienced “pinner” but you should be able to click on a “pin” and it will link you to the person who pinned it. can you send me the link to the pin you want to see.

I love a challenge. I might have found the stitch instructions from
Knit4evr’s project notes on ravelry.
https://www.ravelry.com/projects/Knit4evr/garter-stitch-ruffles-baby-blanket.
Also I found Barbara Breiter has a facebook page as Knitting On The Net/Knit A Bit with contact info.

Knitcindy you are welcome, I’m glad I was able to help, now you will have to send me a picture link when it is finished. It sounds like a nice pattern.

I have added it to the folder I keep on my computer/phone/tablet and I back them up to a usb drive.

Keep safe, Happy knitting

I went on Ravelry.com and searched for “Garter Stitch Ruffle Baby Blanket”! Once I clicked on the Projects tab for that pattern I searched for others who might have posted this pattern, THEN I discovered (on the 3rd page of Projects) that someone posted a photo of the original pattern with her project !!! VERY helpful!! I wanted to let u know so u could look it up (if u wanted to)!!!

Thanks again!

I have used that pattern a lot. I used size 3 and 13 needles.

I used the WAYBACK MACHINE and found it!

Re: Garter Stitch Ruffles Baby Blanket,
I have a question about the pattern: Do I alternate the needle sizes (first using 8 mm, then 3.75 mm) after EVERY group of eight rows, or just change the needle size once, after the first eight rows on 8 mm needles, then knit all the rest of the blanket on the 3.75 needles, please? It seems to me that in order to get the ruffly texture, I would need to switch the needle sizes every eight rows. Am I correct?

I read it that way as well
