I need help with a question on figuring garter stitch gauge.
My pattern calls for 22 sts and 48 rows to 10cm/4in over garter st using US 5 needles.
What is the stitich count per inch?
(I am using a size 7 needle and I am getting 22 stitches per 4 inches. or 5.5 stst per inch)
If you’re getting 22 sts/4" thats correct for the gauge, doesn’t matter that you had to use a larger needle to get it.
